HEALTHY BREAKFAST • Vegan diet plan for one day // Granola recipe

A vegan diet is healthy, good for your body and, beyond that, for our planet. However, many people find it difficult to start a vegetarian or vegan diet. This is not only because of the renouncement, but also because of knowledge gaps, which really matters when it comes to a vegan nutrition. And it is really not quite that simple.

Vegan does not automatically mean wholesome and healthy

For example, those who more often choose vegan meat substitutes than raw and cooked vegetables often replace something bad with something bad. Because substitute products often contain sugar, preservatives and flavor enhancers.

Caution is also advised with apparently healthy mueslis. Besides rainforest-destroying palm oil, most of them contain refined sugar and emulsifiers. This can even be the case with organic products.

Today we want to show you how you can easily eat vegan and healthy. With our nutrition plan you can easily integrate vegan and wholesome food into your everyday life. In the first part we start with the base, the breakfast. We start the day with a homemade granola:

Vegan Breakfast

For your homemade muesli you need the following
ingredients:.

Coarse-grained ingredients:

200 g oat flakes

2 handful of walnuts

6 tbsp sunflower seeds

6 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Fine grained ingredients:

4 tbsp amaranth

4 tbsp sesame seeds

4 tbsp peeled hemp seeds

2 tbsp linseeds

For the chocolate caramel taste:

3 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp strongly deoiled cocoa powder

2 tbsp cane sugar

¼ tsp Himalaya salt

For the topping:

3 tablespoons dried raspberries

1 handful of frozen wild berries

Preparation

1. Take a non-stick frying pan and heat it to almost full strength.

2. Then add all the coarse ingredients. They are lightly roasted for about 4 minutes.

3. Now add the fine-grained ingredients for another 2 minutes until the sesame seeds start to crunch in the pan.

4. Now stir in the coconut oil, cocoa powder and cane sugar with the salt so that the ingredients caramelize.

5. Then cool your muesli on a baking tray and sprinkle the dried raspberries over it.

Et voilà: you can now enjoy your homemade granola, for example with natural soy yoghurt and frozen wild berries. We hope you like it as much as we do!
